Japan – Crie Anabuki upgrades full year forecast

Japanese HR services provider Crie Anabuki (4336: JP) announced a revision to its forecasted revenue for the financial year ended March 2021.

The company slightly upgraded its forecasted revenue to JPY 6.30 billion (USD 60.5 million) from JPY 6.23 billion (USD 59.8 million). Operating income was also upgraded to JPY 135 million (USD 1.3 million) from JPY 106 million (USD 1.0 million). The net income forecast is now 100 million (USD 0.9 million) compared to the previously announced forecast of JPY 85 million (USD 0.8 million).

The group cited improved operational efficiency for the upgrade as well as steady sales and the improvement of the profit margin of the temporary staffing business and reduction of costs.

Crie Anabuki is mainly engaged in the human resource service-related business. The Human Resource Dispatching segment is involved in the provision of temporary staffing services, with the Outsourcing segment providing staff placement. Human Resource Introduction provides fee-charging employment services and temp-to-perm services. The Re-employment services provide support to retired persons and employment adjustment consulting services for companies.

Last month the group reported revenue for the six months ended 30 September 2020 of JPY 3.13 billion (USD 29.7 million), a decrease of 1.8% compared to the same period last year.
