Japanese staffing company Careerlink (6070: JP) reported revenue today for the first six months ended 31 August 2021 of JPY 16.24 billion (USD 143.0 million), an increase of 16.3% compared to the previous year.

The group said it received orders for new BPO projects and new general office work projects that exceeded the same period of the previous year. CRM-related (customer relationship management) proposals gradually recovered. Furthermore, the manufacturing human resources service business recovered steadily. However, the group said sales in the human resources service was still impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 39 billion (USD 343.4 million) for the year ended 31 March 2022.
Careerlink shares closed at JPY 1,530.00 (USD 13.47), down 2.67% on the day and 13.08% above the 52 week low of JPY 1,353.00 (USD 11.91) set on 2 November 2020. The company has a market cap of JPY 19.78 billion (USD 174.2 million).
