Japanese staffing company Careerlink (6070: JP) reported revenue today for the first six months ended 30 September 2022 of JPY 22.02 billion (USD 158.2 million), an increase of 35.7% compared to the previous year.

The group said sales were favourable in its BPO-related business. The group’s CRM-related (customer relationship management) also saw a recovery during the period. The company also added that sales for its temporary staffing projects for local governments were steady.
The manufacturing personnel service business saw a steady increase in the amount of orders. The sales personnel service business reported an operating loss.
Looking ahead the group forecasted revenue of JPY 50.50 billion (USD 362.77 million) for the year ended 31 March 2023.
Careerlink shares closed yesterday at JPY 2,678 (USD 19.24), down 3.25% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 35.57 billion (USD 255.5 million).
