Japanese staffing firm Career Bank (4834: JP) reported revenue today for the first quarter ended 31 August 2021 of JPY 1.73 billion (USD 15.6 million), an increase of 33.7% compared to last year.

The group said that in its dispatch-related business, it was able to outsource the work related to Covid-19 vaccinations. As a result, revenue and segment income exceeded the same period of the previous year
Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 6.73 billion (USD 60.5 million) for the full year ended 31 May 2021.
Career Bank offers temporary staffing services; recruitment; payroll; outplacement; and other services. The “Other” segment includes Career Bank’s language training business in China.
Shares in Career Bank closed at JPY 1,135 (USD 10.20), up 1.25% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 1.12 billion (USD 10.0 million).
