View All NewsJapan – Benext-Yumeshin first quarter revenue rises 6.7% on back of continued growth in demand for engineers
Japanese technical staffing firm BeNext-Yumeshin (2154: JP), reported revenue today of JPY 38.99 billion (USD 263.9 million) for the first quarter ended 30 September 2022, an increase of 6.7% compared with the previous year.
The increase in sales and profits was attributed to the continued growth in demand for engineers and the utilisation rate.

The entire engineering segment includes the machinery, electronics and IT software sub-segment which reported a 12.9% year-on-year increase and the construction sub-segment also reported an increase of 5.8%. The subtotal for the engineering segment was an increase of 10.4%.
The manufacturing segment reported an increase of 14.2%. Overseas was up 6.4%.
Looking ahead, the group forecasted revenue of JPY 164.0 billion (USD 1.11 billion) for the year ended 30 June 2023.
Shares in BeNext-Yumeshin Group closed at JPY 1,860.00 (USD 12.59), down 2.26% on the day and 3.23% below its 52-week high of JPY 1,922.00 (USD 13.01), set on 2 November 2022. The company has a market cap of JPY 173.31 billion (USD 1.17 billion).
