India – Quess Corp. increases stake in gig economy hiring platform Taskmo

14 July 2021

Quess Corp. (QUESS:NSI), a Bengaluru, India-based staffing provider, increased its stake in the parent company of Taskmo — a gig economy hiring platform focused on India — to 33.3% from 16.1%, according to an announcement earlier this month.

Taskmo had more than 20,000 users on its platform as of 30 June.

Quess aims to strengthen its presence in the digital gig economy with the increased investment.

Taskmo posted cumulative revenue from fiscal year 2019 to fiscal year 2021 of INR 42.9 million (USD575,323).

Stellarslog Technovation Pvt. Ltd., the parent company of Taskmo, posted revenue of INR 12.5 million.

“Taskmo is a leading platform that enables enterprises to outsource tasks to a distributed network of gig workers in India,” according to Quess. “It uses a proprietary algorithm for screening, training, deploying, and managing gig workers.”
