Salaries are rising in India with a median 9.3% annual increase expected next year, the Press Trust of India reported. That compares to an 8% increase this year. The news agency cites a report by Willis Towers Watson. India’s increase is the highest in Asia-Pacific amid an improved business outlook. Increased hiring is expected as well with 30% of firms planning to hire in the next 12 months, three times more than in 2020.
