IT services giants Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys have ranked at the top for the Global Top Employers 2022 list by the Top Employers Institute.

This year, 11 organisations have been selected as leaders in HR for their outstanding strategies and people practices in at least 20 countries each.   

These organisations are certified for their consistency in enriching the world of work on a truly global stage, the Institute stated.

The top 11 employers were:

• British American Tobacco  
• DHL Express  
• DHL Global Forwarding, Freight  
• Infosys  
• JTI  
• PepsiCo  
• Philip Morris International  
• Saint-Gobain   
• Takeda  
• Tata Consultancy Services  

In 2022, the Top Employers Institute certified over 1,857 organisations in 123 countries/regions.

“These certified Top Employers positively impact the lives of over 8 million employees globally,” the Institute stated.

The Top Employers Institute Certification Programme assesses the people practices of participating companies through the independently audited and fact-based HR Best Practices Survey, which covers six domains and 20 subtopics across the entire HR spectrum. The six domains include: Shape, Develop, Steer, Engage, Unite, and Attract.

Earlier this month, Infosys reported revenue rose 21.5% in constant currency in its fiscal third quarter ended 31 December 2021.
