India-based staffing firm Info Edge announced that it has invested a further INR 412 million (USD 5.5 million) in Metis Eduventures, owner of government training platform Adda247.

Adda247 is an education-technology company that helps students prepare for several government jobs via its multiple platforms including bankersadda.com, sscadda.com, Adda247 mobile app, Adda247 Youtube channel, ctetadda.com and Career Power.

Info Edge has previously invested in Adda247 and has a minority stake in the firm. Post this investment, Info Edge would have a 24.49% stake in the platform.

This latest investment aims to help the company to consolidate its presence into a new line of business within the Internet Services/Tech Industry.
