India-based human resources service investment platform FirstMeridian Group acquired the talent acquisition and staffing unit of Cornucopia, an HR firm that serves pharmaceutical and healthcare firms in India, reports The Economic Times. The transaction amount was not disclosed. Cornucopia’s existing business and associated team will now become part of V5 Global, which is a FirstMeridian portfolio Company. N Ahmedali, Founder and managing director of, said, “The acquisition is intended to help FirstMeridian tackle the increasing need for qualified healthcare workers with the sector seeing more demand due to the Covid-19 crisis.”
