India – Employee noncompete discussion between Infosys and union is pushed back (The Economic Times)

19 May 2022

Discussions over employee noncompete agreements between IT services giant Infosys Ltd. (INFY:NSI) and the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate, a labor union based in Pune, India, have been pushed back a week, The Economic Times reported. The noncompete agreements prohibit employees from working with competitors if the job involves a customer with whom the employees have done work for in the preceding 12 months while at Infosys. The newspaper reported Infosys had missed a meeting with the union this week, resulting in discussions being pushed back.
