Australian recruitment firm Mills Recruitment today announced the acquisition of Orebody Personnel, a specialist Processing, Maintenance and Mining Services recruitment firm also based in Australia.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Mills now adds mining services to its existing portfolio of engineering and project delivery (mining), accounting & finance, executive, legal and local government recruitment.

Directors Bryan Kennelly and Adam Duggan from Orebody have agreed to join Mills and run Mining Services. With more than 45 years of mining and recruitment experience between them, Kennelly and Duggan will continue to look after mining clients, workers and candidates.

Orebody Personnel was established ten years ago by Kennelly and Devon McNeil after many years of work on the mines.

“While we were pleased to build a successful business, we wanted to bring our focus back to sourcing the best people for our mining clients, especially in the current climate,” Kennelly said.
