Australia – Hiremii’s CEO and managing director resigns

Hiremii, an Australia-based staffing platform for temporary and permanent hiring, announced the resignation of its Chief Executive and Managing Director, Chris Brophy, effective 31 December 2021.

Hiremii Director and Chairperson Alison Gaines said, "Chris has made significant contributions to Hiremii since joining in the company. This has included progressing/guiding the business of the company and Hiremii's listing on the ASX. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours."

The company also announced that it has appointed Andrew Hornby, the current Chief Commercial Officer of Hiremii and Chief Executive Officer of Inverse Group, the company's wholly owned subsidiary, as Managing Director, effective 31 December 2021.

On 24 November 2021, Hiremii completed the acquisition of Inverse Group, a recruitment firm with a focus in the energy, resource and digital sectors across Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia.

Gaines added, “"We are pleased to welcome Andrew Hornby as Managing Director. Andrew has extensive recruitment and labour hire experience across the digital and resources industries throughout Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. He is currently a Board Member of the Energy Club of Western Australia. Andrew brings a wealth of industry experience and expertise and we look forward to continuing to work with him in this new role.”
