Australia’s government job board Jobactive is set to rebrand as Workforce Australia from July 2022.

Workforce Australia centres on helping Australians to find and keep a job, change jobs or create their own job, connecting employers with job seekers, and a refreshed network of providers to deliver tailored case management.

The new employment service will launch on 1 July 2022 and aims to grow to become a single front door for all government employment and skills programs and initiatives.

Workforce Australia is also the new brand representing all employment and skills services. According to the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, consolidating existing employment and skills brands under the Workforce Australia banner will help to identify all the services the Australia government is providing to foster a ‘productive and competitive workforce’.

The government will roll out the brand for existing employment and skills programs in the next 18 months.
