Australia – GO2 People updates full-year revenue forecast

09 December 2022

GO2 People Ltd. (GO2:ASX), a provider of vertically integrated recruitment and building services in Australia and New Zealand, today forecast full-year revenue will be in excess of AUD 90 million (USD 61 million).

GO2 People previously released a forecast on 2 September 2022 that called for full-year revenue of between AUD 85 million (USD 57 million) and AUD 95 million (64 million).

The company’s securities were placed in a trading halt on 7 November at its own request, pending the release of an announcement.

The announcement of an updated number for the full year is prompted by revenue generated to the end of November of AUD 36.2 million (USD 24.5 million), along with various new business wins and other initiatives.

“The group continues to enjoy significant structural tailwinds from the worker shortage across all our operating sectors, and our positioning of ‘Building Australia’s Workforce’ speaks to the significant value we can bring to our existing and potential new client relationships,” board Chair Darren Cooper said.

Among GO2 People’s other updates:

  • The group, via its Skill Hire subsidiary, in September 2022 commenced supply of labour hire to a contracting alliance constructing a major arterial road project in the southwest of Western Australia. Skill Hire was appointed under a supplier arrangement to enable it to provide a range of additional training and other services under the one vendor arrangement. At the end of November 2022, Skill Hire had 35 placements on site, with an additional nine now mobilising to site and open orders for a further 40 roles which are expected to be filled over the next few months.
  • GO2, also via its Skill Hire subsidiary, is the major labour hire supplier in Western Australia to a significant national grocery warehouse operation, with 151 candidates on placement during November 2022. Skill Hire also provides training services to this employer.
