Asia Pacific, Middle East – Executive search association names council leadership

The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants announced that Louisa Wong will serve as council chair to the AESC Council of Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Wong is executive chair at retained search firm Global Sage.

In addition, the AESC announced Grace Cheng, country manager - Greater China at Russell Reynolds Associates, will serve as council vice chair. Cheng is based in Beijing.

Filling the council secretary and treasurer position will be Anissa Low, managing director, Asia, at search firm WittKieffer. Low is based in Singapore.

The council comprises elected officers and representatives from AESC member executive search and leadership advisory firms from across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

“AESC councils play an important role in adding regional expertise and insight with global innovation on behalf of our association, ensuring clients — no matter where in the world — receive the highest level of service when working with an AESC member,” said Karen Greenbaum, AESC president and CEO.

In addition, the AESC announced the following new members to its council of Asia Pacific and the Middle East:

  • Shalija Dutt, founder and chair at Stellar Search, based in Delhi, India
  • Sean Garvey, partner - head of technology industry sector and CIO practice at Odgers Berndtson, based in Sydney, Australia
  • Jiyeon Kim, managing partner at Signium, based in Seoul, South Korea
  • Priya Chetty Rajagopal, founder and managing partner at Multiversal, based in Bengaluru, India
  • Wai-Leong Chan, partner at Eric Salmon & Partners, based in Singapore
