104 Corp Q2 revenue rises 8.7% as it sets single quarter revenue record

Revenue at Taiwanese job board 104 Corp (3130: TAI) rose by 8.72% in the second quarter of 2023 when compared to the same period a year ago. Revenue totalled TWD 600.4 million (USD 18.8 million).

The group’s reviewed financial statements for Q2 2023, published last week, showed gross profit edged up 4.84% when compared to the same period a year ago.

“The company achieved a breakthrough by surpassing a quarterly revenue exceeding TWD 600 million, setting a record for single-quarter revenue high,” the company stated.

104 Corp also reported consolidated operating revenue for the first half of 2023 amounted to TWD 1.13 billion (USD 35.3 million), with a 5.45% year-over-year increase. The operating income decreased by 17.7% compared to the same period in 2022. Net income decreased by 12.9%.

The company operates www.104.com.tw,  providing online recruitment advertisements, online business advertisements, executives search, human resource management software, human resource transfer services, science and technology job bank services, job mapping services, recruitment platform consulting services, education and learning services, as well as tutoring and outsourcing services and other value-added services, amongst other online recruitment services. It operates its business principally in Taiwan. In 2021, the company launched the 104 50+ Senior Job Bank, which provides middle and senior-aged people with self-supporting services for their transition to jobs and health to solve talent shortage problems and fulfil its goals concerning corporate social responsibility.

104 Corp shares closed last Thursday at TWD 205.00 (USD 6.42), up 0.2% on the day. The company has a market cap of TWD 6.87 billion (USD 215.0 million).
