SIA’s Executive Forum Europe 2017 Offers a Roadmap to Success

'Dare to Lead’ Brings Together Top Experts

London, UK — 21 September 2017 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has confirmed the list of speakers and the full agenda for the 4th Annual Executive Forum Europe, taking place in London this October.

Executive Forum Europe is the premier staffing event for European business leaders, attracting top executives, management and expertise; and offering unparalleled insights and ample networking. This year’s two-day Forum focuses on providing a roadmap for success and invites executives to proactively rethink leadership in a compelling programme centred around the conference theme Dare to Lead.

SIA President Barry Asin, Executive Director of Global Research John Nurthen, and SVP of Contingent Workforce Strategies Bryan Peña open the conference in a Welcome Keynote session that helps firms hone their competitive edge by detailing industry research and providing an interpretation of findings and implications for both staffing firms and their customers.

On day two of the conference, Keynote Speaker Matthew Taylor, Chief Executive of the RSA and Tony Blair’s former policy chief, takes the delegates through Insights from the Taylor Review. Published earlier this year, the Taylor Review examines the gig economy and the challenges of establishing fair regulation across a vibrant job market to allow for both workers and organisations to prosper. Aiming to address the issue of how to make work better without undermining the UK's excellent record on job creation, the Review engages private and public sector stakeholders alike in dialogue around the transformation of work. Executive Forum delegates will be among the first of group audiences to hear directly from Mr. Taylor on the findings from the Review.

The conference hosts tracks for both large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises and covers topics such as brand differentiation, growth strategies, service trends, the gig economy and maximising value. This year’s conference lunch for Women in Recruitment features Shona McManus, CEO/Owner of Osborne, presenting on the culture of success and people-centric leadership. Facilitated Roundtable discussions drive delegate interaction and provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, questions and industry perspectives. The concluding Legal Live! is an interactive session that will use case studies to highlight the risk issues that impact the value of your staffing business, including best practice tips for managing independent contractors and SOW models, avoiding harsh contract terms with clients and retaining key personnel.

“There are plenty of hot topics for senior staffing executives to be concerned about at the moment,” said John Nurthen, Executive Director of Global Research at SIA. “The staffing industry has always had to cope with changing economic trends, legislative changes, the emergence of new business models and new technology but the pace of change seems to be accelerating and presenting the industry with both threats and opportunities. We aim to explore these in detail through our keynote and concurrent sessions.”

Business leaders named to the 2017 Staffing 100 Europe and the Global Power 100 - Women in Staffing International 50 lists will also be honoured during the conference for their achievements and contributions to the world of work.

Executive Forum Europe 2017: Dare to Lead will be held 09-10 October at The Grange St Paul’s in London. For the full conference agenda, overview of speakers and registration, please visit www.siexecutiveforum.eu | @ExecForum.
