25 Industry Leaders Named to List
Mountain View, California — February 1, 2017 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has unveiled its inaugural list of Latin America staffing leaders in recognition of those individuals in the region driving the growth and vision of the industry.
The list is not a ranking but an acknowledgment of leaders who have embraced the challenges and opportunities across Latin American labor markets, fostering visibility, services and innovation in staffing. The 25 individuals making the list reflect a commitment and passion for advancing the world of work locally, regionally and globally.

SIA research indicates that partly because of the large amounts of informal labor, temporary agency penetration rates for staffing services are very low in most Latin American countries. For instance, in 2014 temp penetration rates were estimated at 0.1% and 0.4% in Brazil and Argentina, respectively. Considering the rate for the US is 2.0%, there is clearly opportunity for growth and development in the region. This opportunity applies not just to staffing, but to many related services.
The Latin American 25 list debuts this week, with a spotlight on each of the honorees and their efforts to shape the world of work in the region. Some of the honorees will be present at the SIA’s Executive Forum, 13-16 February in San Diego. SIA plans to publish the list annually.
