Ascend Staffing acquired WorkStaffing, a staffing firm with locations in Omaha and Council Bluffs, Nebraska. WorkStaffing provides staffing in the light industrial, clerical and warehousing industries.

The deal closed in late December and financial terms were not disclosed. WorkStaffing will take on the Ascend Staffing brand.

Based in North Salt Lake, Utah, Ascend Staffing now has 45 branches in 15 states. It targets the light industrial, non-clinical hospital, warehousing and clerical sectors.
