Staffing as a Mission LLC, based in Nashville, Tennessee, acquired DATalent LLC, a technology recruiting and staffing firm also based in Nashville. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

DATalent was founded in 2017 by Ruth Smith, who is staying with the combined company as strategic advisor.

“This acquisition allows us to combine forces with a company that shares the same values, work ethic, and client/candidate engagement philosophy,” Smith said.

Staffing as a Mission was founded in 2014 and ranked on the 2019 Inc. 500 list with $5.7 million in revenue. Prior to the acquisition, it had 250 employees, external and internal.
