People: TekPartners, Apolis, Fahrenheit IT, ettain and more

TekPartners promoted Jay Bevilacqua to president. Bevilacqua will oversee all operations as the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based IT staffing provider and will report to founders Harris Katz and Vito Scutero. Bevilacqua’s former roles at the company include account manager, market director and executive VP.

Apolis, an IT staffing and cloud solutions company, named Ranjith Varma as its new president. Three firms merged in October to become Apolis, which is headquartered in El Segundo, Calif., with India-based operations in Noida, India. Varma most recently served as VP, private equity group at global IT services company Mphasis; prior to that, he was director/executive client partner at UST Global, a digital transformation solutions company.

Paul Taylor has joined Fahrenheit IT, a Denver-based IT staffing firm, as division president. Taylor was formerly CEO of Solving IT, an IT recruitment and solutions firm. Prior to that, he was CEO of recruitment firm FiveTenGroup.

IT staffing provider ettain group named Eric Ellis as director of digital solutions and a member of its managed services team. Ellis has more than 15 years of experience in the digital solutions space; he previously served as UX director for Lithium Technologies.

Enterprise Solutions Inc., a provider of MSP staffing solutions and IT system integration staffing, appointed Sunder Pillai as COO.  Sunder previously held various leadership roles with NTT DATA, Hexaware and TCS.

Optomi Professional Services named Rob Crum as VP of strategic accounts, overseeing the Atlanta-based company’s strategic accounts team and, specifically, the Optomi IT talent business. Crum has a sales and operations background at AMN Healthcare (NYSE: AMN) and Iron Mountain.
