HTC Global Services completed its acquisition of the North American and India operations of IT solutions and staffing provider Ciber Inc. (NYSE: CBR). A US Bankruptcy Court approved the $93 million deal in May.

The acquisition of the Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Ciber aims to expand HTC’s footprint in the US and add to its set of services and solutions. It also fits with the firm’s strategic growth objectives across industry verticals.

Ciber and certain US subsidiaries filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on April 9.
