This week is National Locum Tenens Week. It’s an annual event led by the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations, the association of staffing firms providing temporary physicians.

Locum tenens are temporary doctors, and the US locum tenens market is estimated by Staffing Industry Analysts at $4.1 billion for this year.
