Healthcare Staffing Summit to address ‘Excellence in a Time of Change’

Staffing Industry Analysts’ Healthcare Staffing Summit takes place next week in Dallas. This year’s theme is “Excellence in a Time of Change,” with a program designed to help organizations thrive through challenges, opportunities, and economic and policy shifts.

“This year’s Healthcare Staffing Summit invites an important exchange of ideas, opinions and analysis,” SIA President Barry Asin said. “As the industry contends with its successes, evolving reach and a backdrop of potential legislative change, we are excited to welcome leaders from across healthcare staffing and the wider ecosystem to formulate, share and hone actionable strategies that define excellence across business practices, now and for the future.”

Tony Gregoire, SIA’s director of research for the Americas, will discuss the current state of the industry and what longer-term trends lie ahead for the healthcare segment in his opening keynote, “The Outlook for Healthcare Staffing.”

Healthcare forecaster Ian Morrison addresses “The Future of the Healthcare Marketplace: What’s Next?,” in a keynote presentation examining the political, economic and strategic landscape, along with the possible scenarios stakeholders face in preparing for potentially dramatic legislative reform.

And in the conference’s concluding keynote session, “Broadcasting Happiness: Creating Success Through Positive Engagement,” Michelle Gielan, founder of the Institute for Applied Positive Research, spotlights the ripple effect positive communication can have on employee engagement, productivity, and happiness, and showcases techniques for a talent-enhancing culture.

The conference also includes session tracks built around common themes as well opportunities to network with industry peers. The Healthcare Staffing Summit runs from Nov. 13 to Nov. 15 at The Fairmont in Dallas. More information is available online.
