Fastaff names industry veterans as senior sales execs

Faststaff Travel Nursing hired four new senior sales leaders from the healthcare staffing space to help lead growth at the Greenwood Village, Colo.-based firm which last year ranked as third-largest travel nurse provider in the US.

The new executives, announced in June, are:

  • Betty Wageman, who formerly served as vice president with CompHealth and AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AMN). Wageman will lead sales and account management teams.
  • Kathy Kohnke, who served multiple executive roles in 16 years with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions (formerly Parallon Workforce Solutions), including as interim CEO and most recently as executive VP of advisory services.
  • Liz Johnson Nesladek, who has spent more than a decade in healthcare staffing, most recently at SpecialtyCare Inc., working with hospitals and large systems to develop strategic outsourcing solutions. Before SpecialtyCare, Nesladek spent time at Platinum Select Healthcare Staffing and AMN Healthcare.
  • Curt Bowe, who has more than 20 years of business development experience working with hospitals to provide outsourced operations solutions.

“As the pioneer and industry leader of rapid response nurse staffing, Fastaff enjoys a healthy demand for our one-of-a-kind guaranteed approach to filling urgent and crucial needs, often in 10 days or less,” said Fastaff President and CEO Allison Beer. “The talent we’ve added on the sales team brings an enhanced level of expertise to consult clients on how and when to use this unique staffing solution.”
