Supplemental Health Care taps new execs and announces promotions

Supplemental Health Care, one of the largest healthcare staffing firms, named a new chief sales officer, chief talent officer and announced other executive promotions.

  • Donna Carroll joined Supplemental Health Care as chief sales officer. She has more than 20 years of experience in sales, change leadership, recruiting and client relationship management. Most recently, as president for North Highland, she led a team of business development and service delivery professionals for the firm.
  • Mary Lucas joined Supplemental Health Care as chief talent officer. Lucas most recently was chief resource officer at Staffmark, with an emphasis on talent acquisition, learning and development, marketing, and service delivery support. 
  • Monty Houdeshell, who joined Supplemental Health Care in 2016 as CFO, will now serve as chief financial and administrative officer. The new position better represents the full breadth of his role and influence at the company, according to the company. 
  • Melissa “Missy” Blankenship has been promoted to the role of president of local offices. Blankenship has been with the company for 12 years.
  • Chris Long and Linda McDonnell have been promoted to senior VP of travel nurse operations and senior VP of travel nursing sales, respectively. 

CEO Lesa Francis said she is “pleased to acknowledge the contributions of these key executives with promotions and is looking forward to the addition of Donna and Mary to the Supplemental Health Care team.”

Francis was named CEO of the Park City, Utah-based firm in June, following its acquisition by Vistria Group in December 2015.
