DLH Danya names president; firm releases results

DLH Holdings Corp. (NASD: DLHC), a provider of healthcare and logistics staffing and solutions to the US government, appointed Helene Fisher as president of DLH Danya, the company’s new operating unit that bolstered revenue growth in the firm’s most recent quarter.

DLH Holdings last May acquired privately held Danya International — a provider of program management, consulting and digital communications solutions — in a $38.75 million transaction.

Fisher will lead operations for customers largely in the civilian agencies market. She will report directly to Zach Parker, president and CEO of DLH.

Fisher has extensive industry experience working on high-profile federal government programs. Prior to joining DLH, she held leadership positions with Maximus Federal Services, where she was responsible for operations and program performance of a major initiative for the Department of Health and Human Services and several Federal Civilian agencies. Prior to joining Maximus, she led large-scale program delivery efforts for the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, State and electronic health record programs. Fisher also previously served as a captain in the US Army Signal Corps.

“We are delighted to have Helene join our executive team,” Parker said. “Her proven management skills and extensive experience with technology-enabled health services including call centers, training systems, electronic health records, and specialized staffing make her an ideal candidate for strategically leading and driving our growth in targeted markets for DLH.”

DLH Holdings reported revenue rose 59.6% in its fiscal fourth quarter ended Sept. 30. The company attributed the increase primarily to the acquisition of Danya International and the expansion of services on existing contract vehicles.

Organic growth was 4.4%.

“As we turn the corner on fiscal 2016, it’s gratifying to look back and see what we’ve accomplished in a relatively short period of time,” said President and CEO Zach Parker. “Bolstered by the acquisition and integration of Danya, as well as subsequent actions taken to pay down debt, we’ve positioned the company for stronger returns going forward."

Parker continued, “Looking ahead, we see the potential for higher top line expansion if the new administration takes a more active role in outsourcing services, strengthening veterans’ healthcare, and driving IT modernization. We believe DLH is uniquely qualified to offer federal agencies the best in telehealth and data-driven healthcare management, and we look forward to the challenges — and opportunities — that fiscal 2017 will bring.”
