Growth assessment report outlines current state of play in global engineering market

To start planning for the future, engineering staffing executives might consider asking three fundamental questions: Do I have the right business models in place? How can my company develop new capabilities and in what areas? How should asset portfolios evolve?

Given the dynamic pace of change in the industry, solving these challenges could easily spell the difference between success or failure. A new report from Staffing Industry Analysts helps to provide answers to those three fundamental questions.

SIA’s annual Engineering Growth Assessment Globally report explores dynamics in engineering staffing to inform industry stakeholders and support their strategic planning initiatives. It profiles the engineering landscape, outlines demand drivers and highlights target markets and skills.

For those interested in the US market, the report harnesses data from our US Geographic Opportunity Atlas. It includes a ranking of the largest 30 state markets for engineering staffing in 2017. The top five engineering staffing market sizes by states are listed below:

For those looking to expand into EMEA and APAC, the report also provides market size estimates for those regions and delves deeper into the UK market which, despite Brexit uncertainty, continues to perform well.
