View All NewsWorld – Robert Walters Q3 net fee income up 14% in constant currency, all regions show improvement
Robert Walters (RWA: LSE), the international recruitment firm, has provided a positive trading update for the third quarter ending 30 September 2017. Group net fee income increased by 21% in constant currency (CC) to £90.7 million, compared to £74.4 million during the same period last year.

According to Robert Walters, Japan, Hong Kong and Indonesia showed impressive growth while New Zealand delivered a record performance. An increased demand for recruitment outsourcing services across the region helped Resource Solutions to continue to grow net fee income across both existing and new clients.
Within the UK, all regions also delivered growth. In London, activity levels were highest across technology and legal recruitment.
In Europe, all businesses delivered net fee income growth in excess of 15%. Growth remained broad-based across permanent, interim and contract recruitment.
Meanwhile, within the other International regions (North America, Brazil, the Middle East and South Africa), North America delivered the strongest growth in net fee income. Brazil delivered a second successive quarter of net fee income growth.
Robert Walters will publish a trading update for the fourth quarter ending 31 December 2017 on 9 January 2018.
“All of the group's geographic regions grew net fee income strongly and growth was broad based across permanent, contract, interim and recruitment process outsourcing,” Chief Executive Officer Robert Walters said. "The board is therefore confident that profit before tax for the full year will be ahead of current market expectations."
The company set a new 52-week high during today's trading session when it reached £590.00. Over this period, the share price is up 78.03%. As of last trade, Robert Walters shares traded at £587.50, up 7.70% on the day. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of £406.61 million.
