LinkedIn appointed Mahesh Narayanan as country manager for India effective 7 January, the Business Standard reported. Narayanan most recently led Saavn, a music streaming platform; a position he left in August.

Finnish HR services firm VMP plc appointed Pauliina Soinio as interim CFO and member of the management team as of 1 January. Soinio joined VMP Group in 2012 and has held several management positions in financial administration. Soinio is currently group controller, responsible for VMP plc’s group reporting and treasury functions.

M.R. Ramaite has resigned as an alternate nonexecutive director of South Africa-based staffing firm Adcorp (ADR: JSE) effective 2 January due to commitments out of the company.
