The world’s largest staffing firm, Adecco Group, is combining Adecco Solutions and Beeline MSP business lines into a unified global managed service provider (MSP) and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) organisation, the firm announced yesterday.

The merger will be completed by December 2012.

The new organisation will be known as Pontoon, operating as a separate entity within the Adecco Group. Beeline’s vendor management system (VMS) operation will maintain the Beeline brand, and also operate independently.

Beeline became part of the Adecco Group in 2010 when Adecco acquired its parent company MPS.

“Beeline is excited about this change as it allows us to fully focus on our best-in-class technology,” said Doug Leeby, Beeline President.

Mike Wachholz will serve as the global President of Pontoon, and the current CFO of Adecco Solutions, Nicole Burth, will become the CFO of Pontoon. Doug Leeby will stay in his role as President of Beeline VMS while Raluca Thiers will continue as the CFO of Beeline VMS.

Beeline is a strategic business unit of Adecco Group, offering contingent workforce solutions also including services procurement.
