Welsh recruitment firm Vibe Recruit announced that it has acquired Centric Recruitment, a recruitment agency based in the south of Wales.

No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.

According to Vibe, Centric had been seeking investment after suffering some financial difficulties at the end of last year before entering administration.

The deal with Vibe Recruit means continuity of service for all of Centric’s client base and also protection for the 700 temporary workers Centric placed out to work across Wales and South West of England.

Vibe Recruit has five branches spread throughout this region and the purchase has secured all of Centric’s permanent staff to roles within Vibe Recruit.

Centric Recruitment placed temporary workers within administration, catering, industrial, legal and other sectors.
