UK – Think Services Group buys blue-collar recruitment firm Handystaff

23 October 2018

British recruitment firm Think Services Group announced that it has bought Nottingham-based blue collar recruitment firm Handystaff in a deal led by its Chief Operating Officer, Bradley Gough, a former HandyStaff employee.

Think Services Group, founded in 2017 by CEO Brandon Rowlands and COO Bradley Gough, focuses on the construction industry and specialises in M&E (mechanical and electrical), recruitment and facilities management.

HandyStaff has been trading since 2013 and provides temporary recruitment to the construction and engineering sector.

The acquisition sees Adam Innocent continuing his role as managing director at Handystaff as well as accepting a position to become Think Services Group's new Chief Development Officer, tasked with finding new markets.

Think Services Group also said that it expanded by opening Think Fire and Security and Think Interior Services, a specialist contractor working on fit-out projects. The group added that it wants to employ 120 people within five years.

No further financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
