UK – Spencer Ogden appoints new CEO

18 January 2017

London-based global energy recruitment firm Spencer Ogden promoted Bradley Lewington to CEO, responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the business. Lewington succeeds co-founder David Spencer-Percival, who will move into co-chairman role with Sir Peter Ogden.

Lewington joined Spencer Ogden in 2012 and most recently was sales director for both APAC and EMEA.

‘‘I have the utmost confidence in Bradley as he takes the helm as CEO,” Spencer-Percival said. “He has proven that he has the strategic experience and leadership skills to serve as our next CEO. I look forward to seeing him flourish in his new role and helping Spencer Ogden reinforce its position as leaders in the recruitment industry”.

Edward Ogden will move into the newly created role of global sales director, responsible for all global sales teams. Ogden has been with the company since its inception in 2010 and was formerly responsible for Spencer Ogden’s US business.

Spencer Ogden also promoted Tom Reid to director of Asia Pacific from his former role as director of Singapore. Reid first joined Spencer Ogden 2010 as a graduate and during his time with the company has held a number of international senior manager positions. David Mills will replace Reid as Singapore country manager; he has 13 years of recruitment experience and previously led SThree’s Europe and Asia sales divisions.

In its seventh year of trading, Spencer Ogden saw turnover exceed £100 million, with fees increasing to £30 million.
