UK-based recruiter Prime People plc (PRP: AIM) reported Wednesday that it expects to announce operating profit for the year ended 31 March to be £1.2 million after taking account of exceptional acquisition costs of £100,000 relating to the acquisition of the majority interest in Command Recruitment Group Limited.

Prime People also reported net fee income on a like-for-like basis is slightly down for the financial year ended 31 March compared to the prior year. The company’s UK business has performed “in line with management's expectations” with annual profitability ahead of the prior year, while the company’s international business has seen lower profitability compared to 2017.

Full results for the financial year are expected 22 June.
