UK – Prime People full year revenue and profits rise

UK-based recruitment firm Prime People reported revenue for the six months ended 30 September 2019 of £13.16 million, an increase of 4.7% compared to £12.57 million last year.

The company said its overseas business had astrong performance, with Net Fee Income (NFI) for Asia increasing to £4.83 million (H1 2019: £3.87m) and contributing 57.9% of group permanent NFI (H1 2019: 52.16%). NFI recorded during the period by the group’s Hong Kong subsidiary, Command Recruitment Group was £2.28 million (H1 2019: £1.68 million).

NFI for the UK business was £3.71 million (H1 2019: £3.86 million) and Rest of World was £0.26 million (H1 2019: £0.27m). Contract NFI represented 5.17% of Group NFI against 7.21% in H1 2019.

As of last trade Prime People shares traded at £97.00, up 0.52% on the day and 11.36% below its 52-week high of £109.44, set on 15 July 2019. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of £11.78 million.
