UK – Prime People expects half-year profit to fall 10%

19 October 2017

UK-based recruiter Prime People (PRP: AIM) reported that it expects profit before tax to fall 10% for the six months ended 30 September compared to the same period in the prior year, according to the company. Group net fee income is broadly in line with the same period in the prior year.

The group’s UK business posted a “modest increase” in net fee income year over year, in line with its expectations. However, international business activity tightened in the first half compared with the same period in the prior year but still contributed to profit.

Full results are expected Nov. 9.
