London-based executive search and recruitment firm Norman Broadbent said on Friday that it has sold its 51% interest in Social Media Search Ltd to Adam Gordon Ltd, so it can focus on the group's core businesses of executive search, interim management and NB Solutions.

The company has sold the unit for £325,000 and will write off an inter-company loan of £652,909. It will use the money for general working capital purposes.

Adam Gordon Ltd., is 100% owned by Adam Gordon, the only other shareholder in Social Media Search.
