NHS Professionals, the government-owned temporary staff supplier to the National Health Service, announced that it has appointed Nicola McQueen as its new Chief Executive Officer from 2 September 2019.

McQueen has worked in the recruitment industry for more than 20 years, first joining Hays then moving to Capita. More recently she was CEO of Affinity Workforce before joining NHS Professionals as interim COO in January 2019.

She has earned recognition for her influence and leadership in the world of work earning a place in SIA’s Global Power 150 Woman in Staffing 2017 and 2018.
