UK-headquartered staffing firm NES Global Talent has acquired US-based Redbock LLC, a talent provider to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices industries. The transaction is aimed at bolstering the life science capabilities of NES.

RedBock, headquartered in Cupertino, California, provides contingent staffing, in-sourced project teams and project management.

NES said that there will be no immediate changes to operations. Both businesses will continue to operate without disruption to customers or contractors.

“Talent continues to complement our organic growth approach with strategic acquisitions that fit our business,” Tig Gilliam, CEO of NES, said. “We were delighted to find this opportunity with Redbock.”

NES has a global network of more than 45 offices in 28 countries. It also has regional centres in Manchester, UK; Dubai; Singapore; Perth, Australia; and Houston.

The company provides staffing to the oil and gas, power, life sciences, construction, manufacturing, mining, chemical and IT sectors.

No further financial details were disclosed.
