UK – MSI Group’s procure-to-pay technology platform is awarded place on G-Cloud 8 framework

11 August 2016

Specialist healthcare recruiter MSI Group has successfully bid to provide its specialist procure-to-pay technology platform i-Engage through the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) newest iteration of the G-Cloud framework. Prior to the successful bid MSI provided the specialist cloud based service through its predecessor G-Cloud 7.

MSI’s system has been awarded a place on the G-Cloud 8 framework, under the Software as a Service (SaaS) category, which provides public sector organisations with a marketplace to source specialised cloud based services. The G-Cloud framework aims to make the procurement of services more efficient and provide public sector organisations with a greater breadth of choice.

i-Engage is a managed service platform which was commissioned by, and built exclusively for, MSI Group to facilitate communication with NHS trusts and its supply chain of agencies. The platform is a full procure-to-pay system that gives NHS organisations control over the booking process, creating increased transparency and giving trusts greater budgetary control.

“I am delighted that MSI Group has once again been selected to provide i-Engage through the newest iteration of the G-Cloud framework,” Nick Simpson, CEO of MSI Group, said. “At a time when NHS spend is subject to significant scrutiny the provision of vital specialist locums at sustainable rate remains crucial. i-Engage acts as testament to MSI’s ongoing commitment to the compliant and sustainable provision of agency staff and to its efforts to support both individual trusts and the NHS as a whole.”

“MSI currently supplies temporary staff across all healthcare groups though every major NHS approved framework agreement and is working closely with individual trusts to create unique staffing solutions and eliminate non-compliant spend. Crucially, i-Engage ensures that trusts remain compliant with new NHS Improvement regulations and gives them greater control over their agency spend,” Simpson said.
