Kingdom Services Group, a UK-based company specialising in facilities management, security solutions, recruitment, and environment protection, announced that it has acquired specialist recruitment firm Xpress Solutions.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Xpress, established in 2004, supplies warehouse, driving, skilled and administration personnel, both temporary and permanent, to different industry sectors. The company is also a corporate member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.

The Xpress acquisition continues the strategic expansion plans of Kingdom.

Terry Barton, Chief Executive of Kingdom, commented, “This is a fantastic opportunity for Kingdom to grow and develop our recruitment service. Strategic acquisitions have always formed part of our growth strategy, but it is extremely important that when we acquire a business that there is a culture fit to that of Kingdom. We are therefore keen that we continue to operate in the same way going forward with no planned changes to trading name, branding, offices, invoicing or points of contact. Kingdom will support and enhance the Xpress integration with our expertise, technology and software solutions.”

Sarah Sanderson, owner and Director of Xpress, also commented, “Joining the Kingdom family will enable my team and I to offer our great recruitment service to a wider audience and for us to expand into new sectors.
