UK – KPMG shortens its recruitment process to suit millennials (BBC)

01 August 2016

London-based accountancy firm KPMG has shortened its recruitment process because millennials were getting frustrated with the old system of recruitment, reports the BBC.

KPMG’s previous protocol required three separate assessments over several weeks, but the new one will be carried out in only one day which will mean that candidates will find out if they were hired for a job within two working days.

The accountancy firm made the change following research on millennials in which more than a third of the 400 respondents said they were annoyed by the length of the application process. Moreover, the biggest complaint was that they had never received any feedback if they did not get the job.
