UK – Hundreds join rally as part of campaign to connect millennials with jobs (Evening Standard)

15 September 2017

More than 250 people are estimated to have turned up for a tech rally in London this week as part of a campaign to connect 2 million millennials with jobs via social media platform called Yourfeed, reports the Evening Standard. The platform was founded by Jack Parsons who started out as an 18-year-old NEET (Neither in Education, employment or training), before building Yourfeed. The platform states on its website that its mission is to connect ‘2 million young people to opportunities by 2020’. The rally’s unexpected popularity led to people being turned away. During the event, Parsons advised guests on the different pathways into the tech industry.
