Harvey Nash Group, a London-based global technology recruitment and solutions group, acquired US-based IT staffing firm Latitude 36 in a deal announced yesterday.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Latitude 36 Inc. is a technology recruitment specialist with four offices in the US and three development centres in India. Latitude 36 was founded in Tennessee 20 years ago and claims to be the only IT staffing company that uses tailored business intelligence to forecast talent needs through its predictive staffing model.

“The group has bold, ambitious plans for growth internationally, and through taking this significant step we will gain critical mass in the important North American market,” Harvey Nash CEO Bev White said. “Our US clients will benefit from having access to a much wider range of services, as well as an extended team of technology recruitment experts who can support their needs.”

Latitude 36’s management will take leadership roles at Harvey Nash. The company, which employs 125 colleagues across seven offices spanning the US and India, will become part of Harvey Nash’s technology recruitment division.
