UK – Gi Group UK appoints new CEO

13 March 2017

Gi Group UK, a provider of recruitment, staffing and workforce management services, and subsidiary of Italian staffing firm Gi Group, has appointed Bev White as Chief Executive Officer.

White was most recently Managing Director of Penna Consulting’s Career Transition business and an Executive Board member of its parent company, AIM-listed Penna PLC, prior to its acquisition by Adecco Group.

Bev White said: “I am delighted to be joining a company of Gi Group UK’s scale and standing within the industry. Having worked with the Gi Group global board previously, I was deeply impressed with what the group had achieved in its 19-year history and with the ambition to achieve global leadership status for the company. It quickly became clear to me that the culture – a key consideration for me – was very attractive.”

“In terms of my plans for the business, I intend to capitalise on our undoubted areas of strength and broaden our offering where we see clear opportunities,” White said. “We have a reputation for providing high quality services among our clients. We also have great people who care about the work they do. Developing new sectors for us is an opportunity where our brand and style of work will serve us well. Indeed, with our recent launch of executive coaching, outplacement and career development business - Intoo UK - and the acquisition of TACK/TMI, the UK business is now positioned to play an even more important part in Gi Group’s plans for global growth.”

“I believe innovation is key to a thriving company, looking at how we keep ahead of what our clients need from us. By creating distance between what we can do and what our competitors can do we create the opportunity to grow the business rapidly and sustainably. This is something I have done in previous businesses and fully aim to achieve here too.”
