UK-based specialist engineering and technology recruiter Gattaca PLC has announced the appointment of Salar Farzad as Chief Financial Officer.

Salar will replace the current CFO Tony Dyer who, after working with Gattaca for 21 years, has decided to pursue other interests. Dyer will remain with the Gattaca until the end of June to help with the transition, but has resigned from the Board with immediate effect.

Salar previously worked for Zodiak Media, a television production company where he was group CFO from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that he worked at Macmillan Science and Education, 2 Entertain and MTV Network International.

Earlier this year, Gattaca reported revenue of £304.2 million for the six months ended 31 January 2017.
