UK-based technology staffing firm GCS Recruitment, a subsidiary of nGAGE Specialist Recruitment, announced that it has promoted managing director David Bloxham to CEO with immediate effect.

GCS stated that following its acquisition by nGAGE in May this year and the subsequent integration into the group, Bloxham will lead the GCS business into its next phase of growth.

Bloxham first joined GCS Recruitment in 1996 then worked at Harvey Nash, Alexander Mann Solutions and Connections Recruitment before returning to GCS in 2008.

“This is an important personal step for me but is also recognition to everyone that has put a huge amount of effort in making the MBO and integration happen, so my thanks go to [Sales Director] Lisa Forrester and the wider leadership team,” Bloxham said. “We enter the next phase of the company’s history in great shape and able to focus all our energies on growing our business.”
