UK-based executive search firm Expand Executive Search has launched its first US office in New York.

Executive search consultant Ollie Shipp has been appointed to head the new office.

“This is a great opportunity to grow our relationships with existing clients and be closer to new business,” Shipp said.

Prior to joining Expand Executive Search in 2014, Shipp was a senior consultant with Michael Page International.

Expand will recruit four additional staff members within the US and, once fully established, they plan to rapidly build out their North America team. Initially focusing on services for digital clients, its US operations will also include communications and technology.
